Name: Morgeth Class: Warlock Level: 73
Tell us something about your playing experience: Durr, well. I used to play on a normal server long time ago, got fed up with the drama and had a very long break from it. Then I rerolled horde on this lovely server, joined the Sixty Thieves and have been RP'ing quite heavily since about June. As far as PvE goes I've had a little share of it, but I enjoy it from time to time. I even PvP. Or well. I mostly run around going "WAS THAT A ROGUE I JUST HEARD?!" but I guess that counts for something as well.
Tell us something about your roleplaying experience: I've been roleplaying for seven years, or something like that. I've done the table top RP, but most of the RP I've had has been text based. I've only RP'ed on WoW for about six months, and Morgeth has always been my main in that. So I'm pretty fresh still, I suppose.
And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
Morgeth claims to have been born in the desert and her earliest memories hail from the times she walked the scorching sands as a child - alone and broken. She came to Orgrimmar in search for the family she never had, but got caught up in the darker side of the city, and ended up a streetside kid with stolen bread to slake her hunger. Naturally suspiscous of just about everyone, it seemed impossible for Morgeth to find anyone to call friend, but eventually she caught the eye of a forsaken woman. This woman - wearing the nickname Harlequin - introduced Morgeth to the likes of the Sixty Thieves.
And so the skinny orc from the market, stealing the crumbs of others, was made a part of a gang of cutthroat criminals with gold on their mind. Needless to say, it took her some time to fit in. She took the nickname of Taint, due to the black stains on her otherwise green hands, and was soon known to be a loudmothed orc, with too much care in her to really get safely by. Morgeth sustained many injuries, but also made many friends (though surprisingly few pieces of gold) during her time with the thieves.
Her trust in them was eventually broken with the burning of the orphanage and the obvious madness of the current bandit king. Morgeth's attention slowly drifted from the streets of Orgrimmar to the large banners of the horde, and for once - becaus she had deemed it dead before - she was able to put some faith into the honour of her race, and maybe even in herself. She enlisted formally into the horde's forces, and ran with a scouting group in Shadowmoon. Meanwhile the thieves scattered like scared birds, but Morgeth found an odd form of comfort in the late night talks she shared with chieftain Kozgugore Feraleye.
When the king was finally thrown off his high horse (and actually shoved into a barrel) Morgeth took the courage to rid herself of the thief title once and for all. She burned her colours close to Razor Hill, and was greeted into her new life, by the shared confession of love between herself and the grumbling chieftain. Following the red blades into Arathi Highland, Morgeth tried to gain the respect of her fellow orcs, knowing that it would not be easy for them to trust a former thief. Prior to this Morgeth had met with Norviskrall - the tribe's own shaman - who healed her from the scars of starvation in the past, ensuring her ability to bring forth a child (or several) for herself and Kozgugore. It was however in the highlands that Morgeth finally learned that the spirit had been none other than the one of Kraag the Wolfking himself, an important figure in Red blade lore. Even though the orc knew little about him or anyone else of the "old tribe" it did indeed bring her mind some peace.
When announced the chieftain's mate, Morgeth has again put further efforts into assuring the tribe of her own reliability and finally reached the decision - shortly after a brief encounter with her old thieves - that joining the tribe was the next step in her path towards becoming the true orc she had always wanted to be.
