Details of your Orc character:
Name: Garzek, son of Greth
Class: Death Knight
Level: 55, will be transfering him to this realm soon.

Tell us something about your playing experience: I've been playing for 2 years. I have an 80 paladin already on a PvP realm. I managed to get to about Rank 7-8 with a character or two and I've raided ZG MC, Onyxia, BWL, AQ20, Naxxramas up to the Four Horsemen, Karazhan up to Aran, Obsidian Sanctum and a few level 80 heroics. I've RPed for a while, at least 8 months or so on Argent Dawn.

Tell us something about your roleplaying experience: Mostly Argent Dawn. I have a level 70 Undead Warrior (Amorn) who I roleplay with often or not (though less now due to having a level 80 toon). I generally understand some bad characters to pick (those that would be considered Mary Sue) and attempt to avoid them in order to make interesting, vivid and realistic characters.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character: The basic idea I had for my Death Knight was that during the Second War (bare with me here), a free willed Orc decided to try and rally men against the Orcish Horde, for he saw what was happening was wrong and dishonourable. Too bad they easily caught wind and made a demonstration of him by killing him and shoving another Orc's soul into his body to make him a Death Knight. Garzek fought with the Orcish horde to Ironforge and as well all know, Ironforge held out. Our Orcish Death Knight was assumed dead, actually frozen in a block of ice and sent down to the bottom of a lake that froze over due to a mistcast Frost spell.
Dwarves being the mining sort they are found this guy, hacked the ice away and realised that he was just in suspended animation. Garzek slew a few Dwarves but they got the better of him and he died again. they buried him under the ground then. When the Scourge events happened pre-WOTLK, they happened to stumble upon a lovely Orcish corpse that teemed with dark power. You know what happens next.
If any of these seems off with the lore, please let me know and it'll change as soon as possible. It's a basic guideline in itself though.
Garzek went through the battle at Light's hope and after talking with a newly freed Death Knight (pending, possibly an NPC), he realised that a lot had changed since the Second War. He realised that the Orcs had a lot of allies and a good position in this world and decided it was in his best interest to try and be part of the Horde (one man alone against this world is a fool or a madman). He's slightly proud that his race has freedom from demons and can pick their path but he is also proud that he is a Death Knight that can command unholy power. He was one of the first Death Knights, holds himself a little higher in regard than his brethren but still respects them for their power and brotherhood. If you have not asked him in character though, you possibly wouldn't know why he's not exactly hugging his fellow DKs. I put it here as an example, to show he's somewhat proud but not enough to cloud judgement.
He won't wear his armour around towns if he can afford not to and he'd really prefer to get in, do his business and get out. Not because he is ashamed but because these new Death Knights try to act like their lives haven't changed, strutting in their armour like they're not being watched at every corner they turn for one wrong move. Sure, he knows his has but what's wrong with a bit of denial? Wink
He sees the Orcish Horde as this; They can afford to be peaceful so they must have a lot of power, especially within their allies. If they tolerate pinkies and corpses well, why not him? They can fit in and so does he. He wants to be on the strong side because it achieves results and because a tiny part of him kinda likes it, though he'd not openly admit it. He has willingness to follow a cause and though he may be able to rule it, he has no problems being told what to do if it works for him. He loathes Dwarves (though I personally don't) with every fiber in his being and unless told strictly not to kill one, he'll put a blade through it. The other races he's willing to walk past without breaking them but he can't resist a taunt against the inferior races of the Alliance, as he sees them. He's a bit stuck in the old ways of "be useful or I kill" but he's trying to adapt into this new society.
He's done a lot of things in the second war, mostly fighting and experienced everything a Death Knight has in Wrath of the Lich King.
I play on Morka on DB right now, please direct all mail and whispers to her. Thank you for your time.

Already had a little OOC talk with this orcling in game, and I must say it looks perfectly fine by me. A bit of an... extravagant story, perhaps, but correct lorewise and certainly not impossible. I'd say we give this one a shot at an in game interview, see what interesting plots or twists this one's got in store for us. Wink

So! Contact any Red Blade in game to point you towards an officer for an IC interview as soon as you managed to pull your DK over here. More DKs to fuel the fires with are always welcome.
