Name: Vlargrom

Tell us something about your playing experience:

I started play WoW, a half year after it was on the market. At that time I wasn’t playing a lot but I was playing. I started playing seriously, 2 month before WoTLC came out. And I have been playing nearly every day since.

Tell us something about your roleplaying experience:

I haven’t played RP in WoW before, so there I’m new at RP. But I have been playing a lot of D&D, and RP stuff like that. So I know what RP is, and how to play RP. I wan't to start whit RP in WoW so i can get my english better, and have a nice time, at the same time.

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:

Short after the Lunar Festival, a little orc named Vlargrom was born. His mother was a bagger, and his father a brave shaman. In the great city of Ogrimmar the little family lived in peace, and the little Vlargrom was hurry showing signs. That he shut go in his father’s footsteps and become one of the few people that were having the ability to control the elements.

Strange thing, was always happening when he was in contact whit the elements. And his father was hurry to see it, Vlargrom’s future was decided, he shut be a shaman. In a young age, his father was starting teach him to control this powers.

But there wasn’t gone a lot of time, before he found out that he wasn’t able to teach his son the shaman’s power alone. So when Vlargrom became a grown, his parents decide that they would send him on a journey. So he cud learn from shamans all over Azeroth. Vlargrom accepted, so young foolish and naïve he said goodbye to his parents and start walking his way through Durtar to the Valley of trials. And it shall be here that his journey shall begin.

Doesn't look too bad to me. Though there's one little detail that might well have a big impact on your application, before we can accept you.

You see, the orcs didn't arrive on Kalimdor until about seven or so years ago. So Orgrimmar ain't much older than that either (most likely about six years, I reckon), and your orc would have to be quite young if he were to be either born or raised in a place like that. Before moving to Kalimdor, the orcs were still stuck on the Eastern Kingdoms (or Azeroth, as it was then called).

If you're uncertain about orc lore, you might want to check the WoWwiki article on orcs. It helps quite a lot, I can assure you. At any rate, I suggest you rewrite your application a little bit to match the description according to the official lore. Shouldn't be too much of a trouble, I reckon. Good luck!

Vlargrom woke up an early morn, his father Vlargrim. Was standing, beside his mother Munasha. Vlargrom hurry jumped out of the bed and said “What’s wrong?” Vlargrim looked at his son and said, “My child, your mom and I. Have decided that you are ready, to see the world of Azeroth whit your own eyes. I have trained you in some years now in the art of shamanistic, but I don’t think I can teach you everything. If you one day shall be a strong and power full shaman, you have to meet other shamans, and you have to go out and discover the elements and the world yourself.”  Vlargrom looked at him and said “I knew this would come some day, and I think I’m ready to face whit the elements.” Vlargrom packed his stuff, said farewell to his mum and dad. And then he starts go down through the land of Durtar Young, foolish and naïve to the Valley of trials a place where children become men.

Looks fair enough. Reckon there's always room for some improvement. At any rate, contact any Red Blade in game to point you towards an officer for an IC interview!

As explained in game, I don't think you might be ready to fully get yourself involved with a hardcore RP guild like this one just yet. There's a few more things about RP you might want to learn, and I recommend you don't give up and are free to seek us out for random RP at any time!
