Tell us something about your playing experience:
I have been playing WoW for about a year (much to my boyfriend's dismay) and have been on a PvP server all that time. My main is a Rogue, and I have a a good grasp of the majority of the instances/ lore. I have a nasty habit of levelling solo-ly (not a real word I know but it's late and my brain hurts)

Tell us something about your roleplaying experience:
Oh dear. Roleplay I have done for many, many years via the internet - forum style mostly, with a little DnD on the side with friends. I've rp'ed Orcs, Elves, humans (mostly) and a whole array of other DnD based races. As for rp on WoW itself... never tried it but I have always wanted to and I am desperate to learn.
I was hoping that being part of a well established Guild would allow me to get right into the rp side of WoW. Having read a few replies to other applicants I am not so sure you would accept me... but you never know unless you ask, right?

And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
Some tips for this; Who is your character, what does he/she want, what has he/she done, etc.
Do I have to? Apologies now for how bad they are going to be.....

Short Story:

The sound of the human's nose splintering made the Orc female grin as she slammed a plank of wood into his face. She quickly ducked as the human retaliated and ran at the armoured guard with a great roar. Being bear tackled by the short stocky Orc had caught the soldier off guard and he tumbled out of the shack that housed the Orcs for the mines. His head was cracked open as the shaggy haired Orc slammed his head repeatedly on a rock on the ground. She grinned all the more - soon they would be free

Mazguul and her brethren were fighting for their freedom. The Orcs inside the encampment had nothing but the rags on their back though still fought ferociously to overthrow their torturers - Thrall's Horde had attacked the outside. Soon they would breach the Alliance defences and aid those that were inside. No longer would they be slaves, no longer would they have to sleep in shackles or work the mines till they dropped.

The female Orc ran for the front gate hoping to open the gates for their liberators. Her heart was in her mouth, she felt as high as a gryphon, intoxicated by the trill of the fight and she revelled in the feeling of finally being able to hit back. Even if she died that day she would be satisfied that she had given it her all.

Others had reached the gates before her and before she knew it Thrall's forces flooded the encampment to join in the bloody slaughter. The tables had turned, the horde were going to win.

Catching an axe that was thrown to her Mazguul launched herself into the fray with added vigour, even though this was the first time she had held an axe since she was a child, and her hands were on fire from the pain of having to grip an object, she was still a force to be reckoned with.

An arrow hit her in the shoulder blade, followed by a second and Mazguul roared with pain, her blue eyes flashing with defiance. She had turned to see her attacker but instead looked at an arrow heading straight for her head. So stunned was she that she almost didn't have time to react - it was lucky that someone else acted for her.

She didn't see who had pushed her out of the way until she looked over her shoulder. She looked up into the yellow eyes of a wolf.

Mazguul would always remember that moment as the time she had truly come to respect wolves and figured out her true calling.

IC Introduction

What? You want me to tell you about meself? Well... seeming as you asked so nice like, I'll tell you a little I guess. But where to start?!

I were born the other side of the Dark Portal, came to Azeroth a pup you see so all I know is here. Well, not here here, but... oh you know what I mean. Anyway, grew up in a camp, one of them what the Alliance had sooooo kindly made for us and that where all me first memories are from. But what Orc didn't that happen to? They weren't so good to us where we were, I got me fair share of scars, see!

*Takes off a gloved hand to show what appears to be hands with burn scars from finger tips to wrist - also tries to move her fingers with limited and slow movements before putting the glove back on*

I were caught stealing from the stores for food for a sick friend. They dipped me hands in boiling oil for it. Friend died.. ah, you don't want to hear about that. I'll speed this up a bit.

After we were liberated, not by Thrall hisself I admit but he sent them to us so it counts, those of us what had survived followed him to Kalimdor. Been there ever since, helped to build Ogrimmar I did, but many of us did.

Got to tell you, with my hands ruined I'm not so good with an axe but it don't matter to me much - in my heart I am an Orc, and I don't need to prove it to you or anyone else. I might not be a warrior like you because of my crippled hands but I got other ways of fighting for my home, laugh at me if you want, but when the call goes out for those to fight you'll see me at the front of the line. I call upon the beasts of Azeroth to aid the Horde and I'll keep doing so till I no longer draw breath!

Live long and die honourably, my friend, I gotta go groom the wolves.
