Hello there, Grok here. I've been playing wow casually now for a few years now. I started playing not too long before the release of the original Naxx dungeon and on and off since then. I spent most of my time exploring the game, levelling alts and roleplaying on different realms and never actually reached the level cap until 80. After hopping between Argent Dawn, Moonglade and Defias Brotherhood I finally decided to settle with the pvp option.
I have always roleplayed but never really involved myself with a guild, at first my on and off playstyle and my insatiable realm & Alt-hopping held me back and then, after a few bad starts with guilds of my own, I became the "guy in the crowd" at events. However I'm looking to change this so I can progress my character within a group and get to know and befriend people on the way!
So, a little about Grokash below:
I have always been interested in the conflict between the Elves and the Orcs in Ashenvale, so naturally Grokash has always been a Warsong Orc. After the events of WC3 Grokash remained in Ashenvale with others of the Warsong clan embroiled with the defending night elves. This has been the case for the last few years, with Grokash mainly living in Ashenvale. Recently after a clash with a group of Sentinels Grokash was injured and spent most of his recovery time in Durotar and Orgrimmar, he has taken the opportunity to travel and meet others and instead of returning to the front lines he will be going on his own path for a while.
That was a brief summary up to now, and here's a little bit from his perspective:
The Orc sat up, blinking in the light of the hot sun. Shielding his eyes he left his small hut, taking in the sounds of smells of Orgrimmar's rush hour - so different to the tense, oppressive atmosphere of the Forest. Grokash rubbed his shoulder to ease the pain of the now-healing wound caused by an arrow "Blasted Elves" he muttered to himself as he remembered the injury. But today was not going to be wasted dwelling on the past. No, today was the day Grokash Keen-Eye was going to set off on a journey away from that gloomy battlefield, he was heading out of the city to wherever the road took him. With a grunt he began his steady stride to the Valley of Strength, just a few loose ends to tie up before he left the City...
