Details of your Orc character: Name: Thormgar Class: Shaman Level: 30
Tell us something about your (role)playing experience: I'm an old player returning, and have some RP experience. I started playing just before this sever started (moved here right away when it did) and quit just after WotLK came out. During that time i was in the Mistrunners (Caulath), The Old Lordaeron (Ardan) and in this guild (Ghorath). I'm by no means an expert roleplayer, but i know the ropes. These days i dont have all that much time to play (kids, work, house, you name it) so i might not be able to make many guild events or such.
And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character: Thormgar was born on Draenor just before the opening of the Dark portal. (should make him 30-ish if i understand the timeline correctly) His family was moved throught the portal while he was still very young, to blackrock mountain. There they barely had time to settle before the alliance defeated the horde and Thormgar was separated from his parents and sent to an internment camp. Life in the camp was hard, but Thormgar managed to survive and learned to fend for himself. Even during this time, the spirits spoke to him, but he did not understand what it was, and feared them. One when he was about 16, he woke in the middle of the night to find a great wolf staring at him. The wolf leapt at him, and Thormgar barely managed to avoid getting mauled. The wolf then chased him out of the camp, killing many guards that tried to stop them. The wolf kept chaseing him, but never seemed to be able to catch up even though it should have been easy for a wolf that size. This was ofcource a wolf spirit, and it was herding Thormgar towards the Warsong clan. Thormgar eventylay passed out, and when he woke up, the Warsong had found him. There he learned to control his shamanistic powers, and eventualy followed the new Warchief, Thrall.
Thormgar prefers to keep to himself. As a shaman, he is sometimes expected to give spiritual council to his fellow orcs, but he does so reluctantly. He is most comfortable on his own, and rarely speaks unless spoken to. He gladly helps his clan, but prefers to do so indirectly, just as the wolf spirit helped him through.
