Name: Vrek'nar Doomweaver
Class: Warrior
Level: 38 at present
Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:
I am fairly new to roleplay in World of Warcraft, I spent a lot of my childhood playing Dungeons and Dragons so am not new to the concept, just newish to roleplaying in-game. I began roleplaying in World of Warcraft a few months ago in a Alliance guild on Defias Brotherhood, but recently the guild activity has grounded to a halt, to the point in which most of the time I'm the only one online in the guild, at the most there will be 3 people online including me, so I decided I wanted to give Horde Roleplay a go and have always been interested in the lore regarding the Orcs.

My name is Chris and I am 34 years old, I am married with 5 children, all boys (although 3 are from my wife's previous relationship). That being said, this has a great impact on my time avaliable to play the game, I am usually online everyday but needs must and I will have to log off if the little ones need me, or my wife needs a break, but I try and play as much as I can.
And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
Vrek'nar was only a relatively young orc when his clan's leader, the mighty Durotan, Chieftan of the Frostwolf Clan refused to drink the blood of the Pit Lord Mannoroth on their home planet of Draenor. When the Dark portal was opened, Durotan and the Frostwolf Clan were exiled by Gul'dan and so along with the Frostwolves, Vrek'nar and his family followed Durotan to their new home in the Alterac Mountains. Vrek'nar's father Vohai was an established Warrior within the Frostwolf Clan and had wanted his son to follow the same path as he had and become a Warrior like him, Vrek'nar wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a fierce warrior like he had, during the early trials he had to endure growing up, Vrek'nar had shown much promise and skill in wielding axes. Vrek'nar also has a younger brother Erenash. Within the confides of their new home in Alterac, Erenash learnt the Shamanistic arts from clans Shaman and became a Shaman himself.
Vrek'nar had not seen much combat, except that of the trials he had endured on his path as a Warrior. The Frostwolf Clan did not participate in the first or second war, instead remained in hiding within the confides of their hidden valley in the Alterac Mountains, known today as Alterac Valley. Therefore Vrek'nar first saw combat when Thrall and the new Warchief of the Horde, Orgrim Doomhammer decided to liberate the remaining orcs from the internment camps. Later Thrall now the new Warchief of the Horde acting on the advice from Medivh lead the new Horde to Kalimdor, and so along with their new Warchief, Vrek'nar and his family followed the Frostwolf Clan to Kalimdor. During the Third War Vrek'nar was introduced again to the Burning Legion, this time in combat. There were many battles but one will be forever imprinted on his mind. Vrek'nar's father was called Vohai Doomweaver, his father was bestowed this name as he wielded a great two-handed axe called "Doomweaver". This axe was passed down generation to generation in their bloodline. Whoever had the honour of wielding the axe would have Doomweaver after their name. Vohai inherited the honour from his father and someday that honour would be passed onto Vrek'nar. This particular battle which involved father and son went on for what seemed a lifetime, they were fighting wave after wave of demons, one in particular got the better of his father and cut him down right in front of Vrek'nar. His father fell hard onto the earthy floor and the axe fell to the side of him, without sparing a second though Vrek'nar raced towards his fathers broken body, picked up the great axe and with a roar shouting "DOOMWEAVER" thrust it hard into the torso of the murderous demon. The demon staggered and fell to his knees. Vrek'nar steadied himself and with another hard thrust severed the head from the demons body. Once the battle had finished he went to his fathers body, took a dagger from his belt and grasped his left hand around the blade. He pulled the dagger through his hand and swore on his father's body to do whatever he could to remove the Burning Legion threat from their world, a blood oath! As next in line in his blood-line he claimed "Doomweaver" as his and took the name alongside his name given to him by his parents.
And so along with the Horde Vrek'nar fought the Burning Legion and eventually the demon lord Archimonde was killed in the Battle at Mount Hyjal and the Third War was over. After the war the orcs under the leadership of Thrall settled in Kalimdor and constructed a vast new city which would become known as Orgrimmar. Vrek'nar and the Frostwolf Clan after helping construct the city of Orgimmar returned to their homeland in Alterac Valley, here Vrek'nar remained for many years but the loss of his father was eating away at him over and over and Vrek'nar decided that it was time he left his home and went in search of a way to bring peace in his fathers memory, this he did by hunting down demons and those loyal to the Burning Legion. Lok'tar ogar!!
