Details of your Orc character: Name: Yondurosh Class: Blademaster (Warrior) Level: 85
Tell us something about your (role)playing experience: I started playing WoW in 2006 on a PvE server. I created my orc at around 2007 and in 2008 it became my main and i started raiding in TBC, then i switched servers onto The Sha'tar(RP) with my friend and roleplayed young orc blademaster for over a year until the guild disbanded (raiding and roleplaying doesnt suit well together :/). After that i started heavy raiding and minor rp. Early wotlk i changed my main and roleplayed a tauren shaman until that guild disbanded too...then i once again started heavy raiding and almost no rp until today. For Cata i started my warrior again as main. Now im done with hardcore raiding(came to DB as sha'tar is pretty much dead in every way) and ive turned casual again(reason for that is also the recent game releases...*cough* skyrim *cough*), meaning i now have more time to roleplay and get into it better.
And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:
A "short" tale of Yondurosh, blademaster of the horde: Yondurosh was a young warrior of the Burning Blade clan on Draenor during the times of the old horde, he had just recently begun to train the advanced ways of combat when the demon blood came in... He was enchanced by the bloodlust, he was unstoppable, and so was his comrades. Somehow he managed to survive those reckless years in the burning blade clan. The burning blade clan was known to be chaotic and Yondurosh was no different. He fought for the horde on Draenor, he fought for the Horde on Azeroth, He kept fighting for the horde through out the first war and the second war...until the old horde was defeated and shattered, Yondu was fortunate(or unfortunate?) to be captured by the humans and ended up in the internment camps.
During the time in the camp while his bloodlust was dwindling away, also his sanity was fading(if he ever had one) and he was no longer the orc he used to be. After years of emptyness and enslavement, Thrall, the future Warchief of the Horde, came along and freed them all... Yondu was brought back but this time he was not chaotic, he was different... he was sane and he had purpose. Under Thrall's command he became a blademaster for the new horde, still reckless however...but that all changed after Mannoroth was defeated. Only scars are left from the past, and now it was his time to learn things right. So he left every trace of his former clan, Burning Blade, behind and began to seek his place in the world of Azeroth.
6 years later: (roughly... checked the timeline on wowwiki) At the age of 70, Yondurosh returned from years of adventure filled with meditation and exploration of this vast new world... he returned to Orgrimmar, and was requested to train young orc warriors for the coming conflicts. He did so for a time until Garrosh gained the seat of power as Warchief. Garrosh deployed him, along with many others, to fight for the horde in the Twilight Highlands. He was fighting for the horde once again but this time something wasnt right... he was alone. He could never feel right until he found a clan to belong to, he was cursed for a longer natural life by the Demons. So after the assault and multiple battles, when he was called back to Orgrimmar he decided... he must find a clan that would allow him to join their ranks, or the rest of his life would be lonely...very lonely indeed....
He wanted to ask Thrall, but the former warchief was nowhere to be found... and he would never ask garrosh, greenhorn *tch*... He had to find out himself. He spent days listening and watching in the taverns and streets of Orgrimmar. He kept hearing 'Red Blade' many times from travellers and other orcs during his time in the city, until one night, after the tavern was emptied, the tavern-keeper noticed a lone old orc sitting in table near the doorway... before yondu could leave, the keeper started talking to him... He told Yondu about the Orcs of the Red Blade and their achievements, although without showing any interest Yondu was impressed. After the innkeeper had finished, Yondu simply stood up and left the tavern without saying a word. He realized this might be the time he could redeem himself.
edit: excuse my clumsy writing and whatever lore holes there might be. I created this chara from scratch so it has nothing to do with my former orc other than being a blademaster. More details of his story can be asked from himself if interested.
