Name: Malara
Class: Warrior
Level: 72-------------------
Tell us something about your (role)playing experience:I've been RPing on both the Ravenholdt and Defias Brotherhood realms for several years, roleplaying as a number of different characters. (Primarily night elves, humans and forsaken.) Looking to expand that list with more traditional horde races. ^^
Been playing WoW from vanilla (with lots of breaks in between expansions) and enjoy primarily PvP at this point, though PvE can be interesting too. I have experience with the majority of classes.
Since more or less everyone in my forsaken guild at Ravenholdt disappeared because of various reasons, I created some new characters on DB, where I've played a human paladin in Wrath. I'm also currently active in a night elven guild on the same server, Nature's Grasp, where I play as an elf warrior.
I've also been a fan of the entire Warcraft franchise for quite some time, going back to the original Warcraft strategy game.
And finally, please write a short story and/or IC introduction about your character:Malara is a 23 year-old orc mercenary who was born into a small band of orc refugees at the time of the alliance interment camps. This group was eventually absorbed by Hellscream's Warsong clan, which then traveled with Thrall across the sea to Kalimdor. While only nine, the impressionable young Malara was fascinated by Hellscream and his efforts both against the demons, but also against the feral elves native to the land.
At 17 years of age, she took part in the incursion into Outland with the rest of the Horde, her first real mission. She found she had a knack for battle, and trained endlessly to perform at peak performance. The orcs native to Outland puzzled her, but they were just another set of tribes in her eyes. As long as she had a pack to run with, she would be fine.
Later on, when she was sent to Northrend along with the interesting character Garrosh Hellscream, she witnessed a few things that shattered her young spirit and made her more cynical about the world. At some point during the campaign, she started her current job as a mercenary.
Since then, business has been good. Malara is all grown up now and actively looking for work as an independent contractor, though something within her does yearn for the feeling of being part of something greater once again. This internal conflict is something that marks her life at this point.
Malara's reasons for joining the Orcs of the Red Blade will probably be exactly to be part of a tribe once more, but she may not admit it, even to herself. She may say that it's only another way to accrue clients. In any event, she has taken note of the group, and has arranged a meeting with one of their representatives in Orgrimmar, her current place of residence.
