Details of my orc character: Drakash is a young adult. He stands tall, wide and proud. His body is scarred, like any battle hardened orc's. His lavendel eyes scour the surroundings with a sharp and cold look. On contrary to this, his stern face is usually softened by a hearthy grin.
Name: Drakash Firemane
Class: Shaman
Level: 38
Tell us something about your playing experience: I started in the spring of 2005. I've quite much played since then. Been to most of the preTBC end game instances and got a lvl 70 druid on Defias Alliance, Iliath. Iliath's been a member of The Shining Strand (The one before cataclysm), The Alliance Watch (Both Saul’s and Maxus’) and The Twilight Guard to name the biggest.
Tell us something about your roleplaying experience: I've been roleplaying since I was 5 years old. Done some live action roleplaying as well. Always roleplayed in WoW. I love it.
And finally, please write a short story about your character: Drakash, son of Dro’thak stood naked on the cliff overlooking a snowy vale. The cold air brushed past him, licking his dark green skin with an icy touch as the sun glistened high above him, keeping him warm. He was on the verge of his manhood and initiating the rite before he could join the shamanistic order, the noble heritage of the Frostwolf Clan. Drakash glanced back at his footprints trailing the pristine snow plains, the only marks that stained the white veil covering the ground all around the year. He opened the small burlap bag he had taken with him and opened it. Inside was a sealed clay bottle his father had given him before he set out to be one with his destiny. He quaffed the bitter liquid and let his mind wander about as slowly fell into a trance. His mind was filled with peculiar visions of an orc standing in complete darkness.
He blinked. Everything was velvety black and he didn’t feel the sun nor the wind on his bare chest or the cold snow slowly melting at his feet anymore. The space where he was didn’t feel large or small. Everything was quiet. Suddenly he felt something shift around him and noticed he was standing in a hut made of frostsaber leather. An old tauren was sat there, rubbing its hands together to provide a source of warmth. Abruptly the cold hit Drakash, who bit his lower lip and tried to keep himself from shaking as he sat beside the tauren. After a long while the tauren began to speak in a deep voice. Drakash listened intently although he didn’t understand a word of Taurahe, but he knew that the old tauren was telling him something of great importance.
He blinked and saw that the hut had changed into a small obsidian platform which was floating in a sea of liquid fire. The heat hit him hard the next second and he tried to remember what the elders had taught him. All of sudden the same tauren roared a fierce war cry before charging at him from behind. Drakash had barely time to turn around before the massive creature slammed at him. The obsidian slab heated up quickly and soon it was almost too hot to touch. They wrestled for what felt like an eternity regardless of the ardour when the bull-like creature suddenly disappeared.
Drakash blinked at the spot where the tauren had stood a second ago. All what he saw was the snowy vale far below him. The moon shone brightly from the heavens and lit the untouched scenery. He was standing naked and wondering what had happened when a voice suddenly interrupted his thoughts. The voice was deep and dark and it was located behind him. Turning slowly he saw the same tauren, looking at the orc straight in his eyes. “You are ready”, it said before starting to walk away from the Frostwolf outpost a half a day’s trek north-eastwards. Drakash blinked and reached to pick up his bag, only to realize his right arm was tattooed with odd symbols. He was ready.
